The Biden administration has announced major changes to the Paycheck Protection Program for small businesses.  Starting Wednesday, businesses with fewer than 20 employees will be able to apply for the newest round of funding.  These businesses will have an exclusive two-week window to apply before larger businesses will be able to access funds.

Additional changes include:

-self-employed, sole proprietors, and independent contractors can now qualify for more money.

-business owners with non-fraud felonies are now able to apply

-business owners delinquent on student loans are now able to apply

-$25 billion earmarked for bars and restaurants
