The 2nd PPP Loan Program Is Available!

The COVID relief program that was signed into law at the end of December allows for $284 billion to help small businesses affected by various state-mandated shut downs.  

There are several major changes that benefit businesses with this new PPP Loan Program.  Here are some highlights:

- Businesses may now get a 2nd PPP loan.

- $15 billion to $25 billion is targeted at the most vulnerable businesses.

- Restaurants can now get bigger loans.

- More flexibility in how the money can be used and still be forgiven.

- The forgiveness process has been simplified.

- The tax break for PPP recipients has now increased.
